Keith grew up in Friend, Nebraska, and received a BS in Chemistry from Wayne State College in 2004. He continued his education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his residency at North Colorado Family Medicine in the Rural Training Track in Wray, Colorado, where he was trained in full-spectrum family medicine. Prior to coming to Pullman, he worked in Broken Bow, Nebraska, for five years as a family physician. In 2013 he joined Pullman Family Medicine and practiced in Pullman for two years before joining SEL.
Keith is board-certified in family medicine and sees patients of all ages. He enjoys practicing evidence-based preventive care to improve the overall health of patients instead of waiting until illness strikes. His chief area of interest is the collaboration of technology and medicine, and he enjoys software development as a hobby. He married Dr. Shaleah Jones in 2006, and they had twin girls in 2011 and a boy in 2019. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing basketball, and biking.
Operations Manager
Kirstin started with SEL in 2012, supporting the vice president of Human Resources. During her role as an executive assistant, Kirstin had opportunities to work with many employees throughout the company, including Corporate project and event planning, participating in cross-functional teams, and working on our Manufacturing floor. Prior to coming to SEL, she worked as an office manager at an accounting firm and as a counselor for juvenile and family court.
Kirstin loves to challenge herself in all endeavors, whether managing projects and events or running half marathons. In her spare time she enjoys frequenting the local farmer’s market and hiking on the beautiful Palouse with her husband, daughter, and two goldendoodles.
Health Clinic Manager, ARNP
Gina graduated as a family nurse practitioner in 2012 from Brigham Young University. During her education, she worked in a variety of settings, including family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, sports medicine, and general surgery. For six years prior to joining SEL, she worked as a nurse in an emergency department/trauma center in Provo, Utah. Gina is a licensed family nurse practitioner who can provide healthcare services across the lifespan. She is happy to see you when you are well, sick, or just have questions about your health. She loves to teach and is an advocate of helping patients make their own informed decisions about their care. Gina is excited to be a part of SEL’s great vision of employee health and happiness.
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
Cindy is a nurse practitioner who grew up in a small town near Green Bay, Wisconsin. She completed her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1996. During college, she also completed the Army ROTC program and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. She then worked as an Army nurse at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She reached the rank of captain before honorably re-entering civilian life. During her nursing career, Cindy worked primarily in intensive care and trauma settings.
After living in the Washington, D.C., area for nine years, Cindy moved to Missoula, Montana. There she met and married a man from Troy, Idaho. They eventually relocated to Moscow, Idaho. Cindy completed her master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in 2015. As a nurse practitioner, Cindy has worked in rural, hospital, and college and student health settings. Cindy and her husband, Keith, have two daughters, Chloe and Hannah. They also have five fur-babies: two Newfoundland dogs (brothers named Hero and Prince), two black cats (named Genevieve and Daisy), and a bunny named Mochi. In her leisure, Cindy enjoys family game nights, reading and rereading Nancy Drew books, working in her vegetable and herb garden, weightlifting, and jogging.

Janelle graduated from the University of Idaho prior to attending nursing school at Walla Walla Community College. During school, her focus was primarily on urgent care and obstetrics. Janelle has worked in a variety of settings in family practice for almost seven years and enjoys caring for all ages and conditions. She enjoys spending one-on-one time with patients and assisting individuals in making knowledgeable decisions regarding their healthcare. Janelle looks forward to helping care for SEL employee owners and their families.

Lisa graduated from Gonzaga University in 2007 as a family nurse practitioner (FNP). Prior to joining SEL, she worked in Pomeroy, Washington, in the clinic, a long-term care facility, acute care, and emergency medicine. Prior to going back to school for her FNP degree, she worked in oncology/infectious diseases and home health. She has a strong interest in wellness and chronic disease management. Lisa has been a nurse for 29 years. Her goal is to help people stay healthy, but if a chronic disease does develop, she would like to partner with her patients so they can have the best quality of life possible. Lisa also really enjoys the pediatric population.
Lisa is married and has a truly awesome son. Her family enjoys the outdoors, and they are avid ATV riders.

Tammy Cochrane is a family nurse practitioner who grew up on the Palouse. She received her bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse from Oregon Health Sciences University, and after 10 years working as a public health nurse, corrections nurse, and in student health, she received her bachelor’s to become a family nurse practitioner in 2014 from Idaho State University.
Tammy is very excited to be back home on the Palouse. The chance to practice in an environment that promotes wellness is a great opportunity for Tammy to continue to explore and learn about prevention with nutrition and activity as a cornerstone to health. Tammy is a lover of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and running, and she has found a new love for obstacle course racing, finishing her first “Spartan Trifecta” in 2019.
Nurse Supervisor
Amanda graduated from Lewis-Clark State College in 2011 with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Prior to joining SEL, Amanda spent almost five years working as a registered nurse in a family practice setting taking care of patients of all ages. This included experience with disease processes and teaching, pediatrics and immunizations, geriatrics, and minor procedures. In addition, she spent one year working in an assisted living home with the geriatric population. She is looking forward to getting to know SEL employees and their families and helping them to invest in their health.

Alayna graduated from Walla Walla Community College in 2014 with an Associate of Science of Nursing degree. Before starting at SEL, she worked at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in the Mental Health Unit for 2 years, at Valley Medical Center - Behavioral Health for 2 years, and at Optum Idaho as a Nurse Care Coordinator for 4 years. She is a certified trainer of Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Alayna is so excited to start her career at SEL and to help all her fellow employee owners achieve their best health.

Zach received his bachelor’s degree in biology in 2012 from Washington State University. After graduation, he worked for three years in a local family practice clinic as a medical assistant. This experience inspired him to follow his passion, and he pursued his nursing degree from Walla Walla Community College, graduating in 2017. He spent his first two years in nursing working in an intensive care unit at a local hospital before returning to primary care and joining SEL. Since starting at the health clinic in 2019, Zach has furthered his education and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing to increase his knowledge and provide superior patient care. Zach enjoys getting to know and educate his patients to help them achieve their best health. He is proud to contribute to a care team that uses compassion and advocacy to create personal relationships and provide exceptional patient care. When he is not working, Zach enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and camping with his girlfriend and two sons Zander and Kohen.

Michelle Elhart graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN; 2014) and Masters of Nursing (MN; 2016). Michelle's first nursing position was in Moscow, Idaho, in the emergency department at Gritman Medical Center, where she developed her critical-thinking and patient/family assessment skills. She is an accomplished author, having contributed to several peer-reviewed manuscripts and chapters. With aspirations for a nursing leadership position, Michelle has continued to seek new experiences and opportunities and is excited to join the SEL team in the Pullman SEL Health Clinic, with the goal of developing preventive care and health promotion that support the SEL workforce and their families.
Registered Nurse
Ben Jackman started his medical career in 1992 working for a home-health respiratory company delivering medical supplies to hospitals and patient homes. After ten years, he went back to school and received his degree in nursing through Yakima Valley Community College, Washington. Prior to taking his state boards, Ben worked as a 911 dispatcher while finishing his nursing program. He hit the ground running in emergency medicine at a Level 3 trauma center in Yakima. During that time, he became certified in a specialized vascular access program, placing central lines in critical patients, and supporting code blue, stroke and trauma teams.
After eleven years, Ben and his family moved out to the Palouse, seeking a quieter and more peaceful environment. He has worked at Gritman Medical Center and Pullman Regional Hospital in their emergency rooms, pain clinics, and IV therapy over the past five years before coming to SEL. Now he is looking forward to learning the preventative side of medicine.
In his off time, Ben enjoys spending time outdoors with his family fishing, hiking, and playing full-contact badminton. His family is active in several sports, while he is a highly skilled spectator with solid first aid skills. He looks forward to meeting you all in a not-so-urgent kind of way!

Sara graduated in 2012 from Lewis-Clark State College with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Prior to working at SEL, Sara worked at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center on the Medical/Oncology floor for three years. In addition to her RN degree, Sara has also achieved several certifications, such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Training in HIV/AIDS. Sara also has a background in working in long-term care and home healthcare. Sara was born and raised locally. She enjoys the adventures and opportunities found on the Palouse and in the valley of Lewiston, Idaho. Sara looks forward to providing compassionate care to the employees of SEL and hopes to better the lives of employees through continued education.

Natashia graduated from The College of Idaho in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She worked as a behavioral interventionist for children with disabilities while attending Lewis-Clark State College for nursing school. Natashia graduated in December 2018 with her BSN and started working for Tri-State Memorial Hospital in the med-surg department. One year later, she transferred to the emergency department and has worked there for the past three years.
Lead Administrative Assistant
Born and raised on the Palouse, Angie graduated from Moscow High School in 1995. Upon graduation, she worked at Latah Health Services in Moscow, Idaho in the Health Information Services department and then moved up to Administrative Assistance.
Angie worked at Latah Health Services for 12 years before deciding to join Moscow Medical where she worked as medical receptionist for 11 years. She joined SEL in April of 2017 and has been a great addition to our Health Clinic team.

Monica grew up in Clarkston, Washington. After graduating from high school, she started working in the healthcare field. Monica has over twenty years of professional experience as a medical receptionist and patient accounts billing specialist. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and exploring the outdoors! She looks forward to working with patients and the rest of the Health Clinic team.
Lead Administrative Assistant
Kali was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho. After graduating from Lewiston High School, she attended LCSC for a year, then joined her husband on his Marine Corps career. During that time, they lived in Virginia, California, and Vermont. While in California, Kali attended Kaplan University and studied Health Administration and graduated in 2013 with an AA in Health Information Technology. After 12 years of exploring the different states, her family has recently moved back to the LC Valley. She is excited to meet everyone at SEL.
Lead Administrative Assistant
Jody was raised in Moscow, ID, and Deary, ID. After graduating from Deary High School, Jody moved to Pennsylvania. She recently moved back to her hometown and has no plans to leave anytime soon; there really is no place like home. Before SEL, Jody was in the dental field for over 17 years and is continuing her passion to connect with patients and her community at the SEL Health Clinic. Jody enjoys cooking, hiking, and taking her dog River to the dog park.
Administrative Assistant
Mandy grew up on a farm in Granite Falls, WA. After graduating from WSU, she and her husband stayed in Pullman to work at SEL. Mandy stayed home for a few years when her children were born, then worked at Pullman School District as an administrative and library substitute before returning to SEL in 2021.
Her favorite pastime is reading, and she has served on the volunteer board of directors for Friends of Neill Public Library since 2011. She also loves traveling, especially to visit family.
Physical Therapist
Mark graduated from the University of Washington with a BS degree in Physical Therapy. He attended WSU, where he obtained a BS in Physical Education/Athletic Training and a second BS in General Biology prior to PT school. Mark opened his own business, Pullman Sports Physical Therapy, in 1998 and has been a successful physical therapist in the community of Pullman for over 20 years. In addition to his clients at his physical therapy office, Mark also enjoyed consulting with the WSU and U of I athletic training departments for rehabilitation of their athletes. He also enjoyed providing clinical instruction for pre-physical therapy students and athletic training students for both schools, as well.
Mark is experienced with treating the spine (neck pain, thoracic back pain, low back pain), shoulder/elbow pain, pelvic/hip pain, and lower extremity injuries. He has significant experience and expertise in lower-half biomechanics and with treating running injuries.
Mark enjoys working with challenging patients. He looks at your entire body (holistic approach) and performs a comprehensive biomechanical assessment from head to toe, regardless of why you are seeking physical therapy. This approach often achieves faster results and better outcomes. Mark is excited to be a part of the SEL family and this amazing opportunity to benefit the employees and their family members of a worldwide company with world-class physical therapy.
Physical Therapist
Mike graduated from Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas, with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. Throughout his rigorous studies, he was fortunate enough to have a variety of clinical experiences throughout different regions of the United States. This allowed him to work with excellent mentors with different schools of thought, from which he developed a well-rounded, multi-modal treatment approach. Mike firmly believes in providing education to each of his patients during every single physical therapy session and stands by the SEL philosophy of: “Teaching is selling. Selling is teaching.”
Before joining the SEL team, Mike fulfilled his lifelong dream of serving in the United States Peace Corps. Mike served in Lesotho, Africa, for 27 months (2017–2019) as a health volunteer at a school for the deaf and disabled. During his time at the school, and with the mentorship of Swiss physiotherapist, Wolfgang Fasser, he was able to design, implement, and train caregivers on a daily physical therapy program and speech program for the students, which he oversaw on a daily basis.
In his free time, Mike enjoys recharging by studying foreign languages, watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his wife and child.
Mike is a lifelong learner and looks forward to continuing his growth as an evidence-based clinician throughout his career with SEL.
Physical Therapist
Rebecca is a native of the Pacific Northwest; she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Eastern Washington University. She lives in Lewiston with her husband and son. Rebecca worked for Confluence Health Physical Therapy in Moses Lake, Washington, for seven years before moving to Lewiston, Idaho, in 2019, where she worked at Moscow Mountain Sport & Physical Therapy and their Reactiv Training Center in Moscow. Rebecca loves working with all types of patients, but also has specialized training in women’s health, fitness, and care during pregnancy and postpartum. Rebecca loves to help patients meet their goals and have fun while getting out of pain and improving their lives. She is excited to bring an evidence-based, fitness-forward approach to care for her work family at SEL.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Carly graduated from Spokane Falls Community College in 2018 with an Associate of Applied Science—Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Washington State University. Prior to becoming a PTA, Carly’s experience included working as a certified personal trainer and exercise specialist in a physical therapy clinic. At SEL, she enjoys expanding her skills and knowledge, helping patients recover from injury, and promoting lifelong health and wellness. Outside of work, Carly enjoys time with family, running, reading, and spending time in her garden.
Mental Health Counselor
Brian grew up in the Lewis-Clark Valley and graduated with a bachelor of science from Lewis-Clark State College supported by the Montgomery GI Bill. Before starting at SEL, Brian received his master's degree from the University of West Alabama and gained experience working with pediatrics and with adults in a variety of mental health therapeutic settings. Brian continues ongoing education and professionally utilizes CBT, DBT tools, ACT, ABA, family therapy, play therapy, person-centered therapy, psychotherapy, and Gottman Couples Therapy. After working in several mental health practices and treating a variety of mental health symptoms, Brian has been dedicated to providing clinical counseling that delivers a safe and secure environment, trustworthiness through transparency, the strengthening of peer supports, the collaboration with the patient, the strengthening of self-empowerment, and the respecting of the client’s socio-cultural differences.
Brian is clinically licensed in Idaho and Washington State and welcomes pediatric and adult clients. He utilizes research-based therapeutic interventions along with trauma-informed care so that clients receive the highest level of mental health wellbeing. It is very important for Brian that the client benefit from the coordination of care, getting the most accurate diagnosis, and supporting the client’s increased self-awareness of his/her symptoms. Brian is excited to give to SEL employees and to support the community he has lived in for over 50 years.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Jessica Viergutz, PsyD, is licensed in Washington and Idaho as a clinical psychologist. In 2003, Dr. Viergutz earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a child and family minor from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. She completed her APA-approved clinical internship at Ulster County Mental Health Department in Kingston, New York. Dr. Viergutz has worked in a variety of settings: residential, outpatient, and public school. Having worked in Pullman the past 12 years, Dr. Viergutz understands the importance of community and collaboration.
Grounded in client-centered and attachment theories, Dr. Viergutz utilizes an integrative approach to therapy with a focus on meeting each individual where they are as they walk through her office door and then helping to create a felt sense of safety clients can take with them. Depending on presenting concerns and the client’s inclination, they may utilize strategies from cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, systems, and gestalt theories as well as sand tray and play therapy.
Dr. Viergutz provides individual and family therapy for ages 4 and older and psychological assessments for ages 8 and older. Common areas of therapeutic intervention include anxiety, depression, relationships, adjustment to changes, grief/loss, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral concerns. Common testing referrals include ADHD, learning disabilities, and differential diagnosis.
Pharmacist
Michael grew up in Lewiston, ID and received a BS in Biology from Lewis-Clark State College in 2005. He continued his education at Washington State University where he received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2010.
After graduation, he embarked on a journey to the remote village of Bethel, Alaska where he served the Yupik people for 7 years. While there he gained experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings and served as a village pharmacist for over fifty villages of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. In 2017 he joined St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, ID. and practiced in inpatient pharmacy while also expanding his role as an IT pharmacist.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys being in the outdoors and spending time with his wife and two daughters McKinley and Bristol. Family is a priority in his life and appreciates the time spent camping, fishing, and gardening with his girls.
Michael is excited to start this new journey and help expand pharmacy services to SEL employees and families. He is dedicated to improving patient health with medication management as well as promoting lifestyle modifications. He is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the amazing multi-disciplinary team at the SEL Health and Wellness Center.
Pharmacy Technician
Tracy grew up in a small coal mining and ranching town in southwest Wyoming. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Wyoming for four years in Laramie. Tracy moved to the Lewis Clark Valley in 1998 and began working for a local retail pharmacy. Before joining SEL, she had 26 years of experience between retail and hospital pharmacy and enjoyed both types of work. She enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs exploring the outdoors. Tracy likes to read, garden, travel, and spoil her grandchildren. She is excited to be part of the SEL pharmacy team and meet new people.
